The Business Peter Duffy Furs has been a family owned and operated fur business since 1953. We have a beautiful, fashion forward, ready to wear selection, and we also offer a comprehensive range of custom made furs. The majority of our furs are fabricated in our workshop on the premises. Over the years we have expanded our line to include the addition of all types of outerwear, shearlings, cashmeres, leather goods, accessories, etc. Mr. Duffy Peter Duffy, our founder, started his career delivering telegrams to the fur district. From years of experience, he worked his way up to ultimately becoming a knowledgeable fur salesman. Establishing his own company in the early 50s, Mr. Duffy became famous for his remarkably cordial personality. Fur Storage According to the Fur Information Council of America, the first step in caring for your fur is as follows: "Always store your fur garments in cold storage when you are done wearing them for the season or not using them."
